All ready for the off in 2 days, having finally cured the worst brake imbalance ever! 3 of the 4 brake flexy hoses were blocked!

All painted & stickered up now. Still a few mechanical jobs to do but on target for our Dec 28th start.

Making good progress with the conversion to LHD. Weather permitting, may be done this weekend

6000 km in a 34 year old car!

By chance, in January 2005 I came across a newspaper article about the Plymouth to Banjul Challenge and was immediately intrigued. I'd long been a fan of the famous Paris-Dakar Rally but that multi-million dollar event is now beyond the reach of most people. Something about the idea of doing the trip in a £100 banger appealed to me and so, here we are, preparing to set off in late December 2005.
